Dr. Maroney completed his DDS degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 1985. Following graduation he spent 18 months in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada at the University of Edmonton Hospital. In Edmonton he completed a General Practice Residency and a Fellowship in TMJ Radiology. Returning to Colorado, Dr. Maroney was in private practice prior to returning to graduate school at the University of North Carolina. In 1991 he received his certificate in Prosthodontics and Masters of Science degree from the University of North Carolina. Dr. Maroney continues his education with numerous advanced Implant and prosthetic training courses as well as membership in The Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, The Academy of Osseointegration and The American College of Prosthodontists.
Following his training at UNC, Dr. Maroney (a Colorado Native), returned to Colorado and he has maintained a private practice in Littleton for the past 20 years. Dr. Maroney has lectured nationally and internationally on topics related to prosthetics and implant surgery. Utilizing his thorough understanding of the principles of prosthetic reconstruction, implant surgical techniques, and laboratory skills, Dr. Maroney is able to offer his patients unique comprehensive care. With this high level of expertise and care, Dr. Maroney offers dental services unique to the entire state of Colorado.
Dr. Maroney and his wife Dianne have been married for 30 years. They love spending time in the great outdoors with their children: Frank, Michael and Mackenzie.
Ria joined the practice in April 1994. With over 30 years experience in the dental field her primary job is office manager, however, she can help you with financial arrangements, insurance claims and scheduling as well as answer any questions you might have. Her goal is for your initial visit to be a comfortable and relaxing experience.
On a personnel note, Ria moved to Colorado from California in 1994. During her spare time she and her husband enjoy traveling around the world, gardening and spending time with their many grandchildren.
Dana joined the staff in September 2001 as one of our part time dental assistants. She was personally trained by Dr. Maroney to assist in all back office duties. Her gift is talking to the patients, reassuring them, and making them feel comfortable.
Away from the office Dana keeps busy teaching aerobic exercise and other odd jobs. Her hobbies include floral design, snowshoeing and spending time with her family and her girlfriends. She and her husband have three sons.
