The first step in your relationship with the Colorado Center for Implant and Prosthetic Dentistry will include a complete dental and medical history, a comprehensive examination, and an initial consultation with Dr. James Maroney or Dr. Kaushal Dhawan.
During this visit, we may need to get radiographs, molds of your teeth, and/or photographs. We use this information to develop a customized dental treatment plan, tailored to your individual needs, and to answer any questions you may have. Depending on the complexity of your case, we may require a second consultation visit to allow us sufficient time to gather more information. Learn more about your initial examination and dental consultation here.
Dental implants are titanium screws that can be inserted into the jawbone and serve as an anchor for one or more artificial teeth. Placement of a dental implant requires a minor surgical procedure and, after a period of healing, we can fabricate and attach a crown, bridge, or denture which will be fitted to your dental implant. If properly maintained, dental implants are a permanent tooth replacement solution. Learn more about dental implants here.
Our expert prosthodontic services include tooth whitening, bonding, cosmetic contouring, tooth veneers, and crowns. Dr. Maroney and Dr. Dhawan are expert cosmetic dental specialists, with vast experience in everything from the simplest smile enhancement to full tooth replacement following catastrophic tooth loss. Dental Crowns and Bridges
Dental crowns are used to rebuild a single broken down tooth, while bridges can be used to rebuild multiple broken down teeth and can also be used to replace a missing tooth. Crowns and bridges can be supported by either natural teeth or by dental implants. Learn More about Dental Crowns and Bridges Here.
Partial Dentures and Dentures
Conventional dentures and partial dentures are made entirely from plastic, or from a combination of plastic reinforced with metal. They can replace large segments of teeth or all of your teeth in a particular jaw. Both partial dentures and full dentures sit on the gum tissue. In certain cases, implants can be used to help secure a denture. With modern technology available, dentures no longer have to look like “fake teeth,” and your dentures should never be painful.
