As has been the case for decades, the design and fabrication of dentures in most Denver dental offices is done through outsourcing to dental labs. However, thanks to modern technology, this is no longer necessary, since cutting edge technology enables us to use digital denture design and fabrication to create your prosthetics, for vastly improved outcomes.

At the Colorado Center for Implant and Prosthetic Dentistry, our doctor, Dr. Jim Maroney, is an accomplished digital design specialist, who also fabricate your dental prosthesis right in our Littleton area prosthodontic office.

Digital Denture Design is More Accurate

Because we believe digital design of dental prosthetics to be more accurate, we employ the state-of-the-art NobelProcera CAD/CAM Digital Design System, from Nobel Biocare. This allows us to be a full service dental office, designing and fabricating your denture “in-house,” without the need for laboratory fabrication.

While there are many different systems available today for the digital design and fabrication of crowns, bridges, implant abutments, and dentures, we believe the NobelProcera system offers us the versatility and quality to provide you with the exceptional care that has become our trademark. These systems can be quite expensive but in our practice, limited to prosthetic and implant dentistry, they have proven to be exceedingly valuable.

Digital Denture Design is More Cost-effective

Because we have this digital design system in-office, we can virtually design dentures, crowns, and bridges specifically for each patient, making them more comfortable and more cost-effective. This gives us greater control over the outcome, and helps to save you, our patient, money.

As prosthodontists, we receive specific training in the laboratory aspects of CAD-CAM (computer aided design/computer aided manufacturing) design and dental fabrication. We are strong believers in the power of digital denture design but, while CAD-CAM technology can be a very powerful tool, it can also be abused, and is certainly no substitute for proper diagnosis and dental treatment planning.

The doctors and staff at The Colorado Center for Implant and Prosthetic Dentistry are available to help you determine effective solutions to all of your dental problems. If you would like more information from your Littleton area Prosthodontist, please call to make an appointment today.
